About
The Kiddywinks family
The Kiddywinks family have been caring for children in the local area since 2002. Located in the lovely Cotswold countryside we extend the children’s learning experiences with visits to local parks, Ernest Wilson Memorial Garden, and National Trusts grounds.
Over the years we have built a caring and trusting relationships with our children and their families. We welcome both children and their parents to our homely environment. Many of our new children come recommended by the parents of children who have attended the nursery in past years.
Our positive and friendly atmosphere allows for your child to flourish. This commitment is provided by a highly qualified, experienced, and inspirational team who are all committed to giving your child the best start in life.
We celebrate diversity and encourage the children to express themselves in their own unique ways.
Our ethos
At Kiddywinks we adopt a genuine professional love for the children in our care; We see love as a doing word not just something we say, we show this in the caring attention we give to every child, by the big smiley welcome when your child comes to nursery, a hug whenever they need one or only just taking the time to listen when children tell us all about their interests and curiosities. Love is fundamental to the children’s sense of security and belonging.
We have created an early year’s educational culture that that is enhanced by a happy, safe and healthy setting. Our nursery aims to value all children and adults in a welcoming and stimulating environment, that facilitates play, exploration, and learning. We believe in the outstanding value of outside play, allowing children to explore and learn with all their senses. Children can connect with nature, get the fresh air and exercise that they need to be healthy; being outside enhances their development, builds their confidence and resilience and of course they get messy and have lots of fun.
A child’s early years are the most critical years of their lives. Therefore, we provide inspiring opportunities for all children that is appropriate to their individual needs. This is provided for in a positive, respectful, relaxed and homely environment, by supportive adults sensitive to the individual needs of the child.

Our key person approach
How can this help your child?
A Key person approach supports and provides a stable nursery experience and environment, ensuring the children feel secure and cared for. The Key Person meets the individual needs of each child and will respond sensitively to their feelings, ideas, and behaviours. The Key Person has a special responsibility to their child -they will often be the one to feed, change and soothe your child. This bond between the Key Person and the child allows us to better understand your child’s needs, hence improving their overall nursery experience.
